How did we anchor 91 semi and fully mature trees?
With a variety of Platipus Tree Anchoring Systems, most notably the RF3P Rootball Fixing System with Plati-Mat, utilising S8 Percussion Driven Earth Anchors (PDEA®). This system was ideally suited for the larger trees, which ranged in height from 7.5m to 12m and had trunk circumferences between 45cm and 75cm.
This underground anchoring system ensures the stability and longevity of the new trees, the safety of the public visiting the park, and the aesthetic appearance.
