Hertfordshire Walled Garden
Project Overview
The beautiful Hertfordshire Walled Garden was designed by the Award Winning Garden Design Practice, Aralia (www.aralia.org.uk) and the requirement was an eclectic garden to complement the stunning 16th century Grade II listed property. Attention to detail throughout the design process was of paramount importance to ensure that the client’s preferences were adhered to. The garden now encompasses three primary areas: the courtyard garden, the driveway garden and the walled garden.
A highly attractive and yet still functional garden which provides a wide range of spaces for the family to relax in and entertain. Beautiful features include a Natural Swimming Pool, Outdoor Kitchen, Contemporary Water Feature, Outdoor Lounge with Overhead Contemporary Shade Sail. Mature pleached trees supplied by Practical Plants add to the structure of the garden and helped to create instant privacy. The other trees were supplied by Deepdale Trees but all were anchored for stability and an aesthetically pleasing landscape, with no unsightly stakes, using the underground Platipus Rootball Fixing System with Plati-Mat and installed by TKE Landscaping.
